Senior CJ Hughes led the Crusaders attack versus Wooster, tallying six points in the contest with four goals and two assists. Hughes picked up an assist early, helping on an Adam Rieger goal, before taking over in the third quarter to keep Capital neck and neck with the Fighting Scots. The Senior had his hand in all of Capital's last five goals, making his presence felt all over the offensive zone, scoring back-to-back goals to open the third quarter, assisting on a Carter McCormick goal, then scoring twice more before the quarter lapsed.

Hughes has opened the season with 17 goals and six assists to lead Capital with 23 points through five games.
