Junior throw specialist Josh Miller continued his spectacular season, winning both the weight throw and shot put titles at the OAC Indoor Championships to secure the honor of OAC Indoor Field Athlete of the Year. Miller opened the weekend, tossing 17.09-meters on his first attempt at the weight throw to cruise to the victory. His mark of 17.09-meters not only blew away the field, second place clocked in at 16.14-meters, it also set the new school record, topping Miller's own record of 16.62-meters.

Day two of the meet was just as impressive as Miller again needed just one throw to secure his second trip to the top of the podium, this time in the shot put with a heave of 16.92-meters. Following the conclusion of the meet, he was named OAC Indoor Field Athlete of the Year after turning in high level performances at every meet this season, winning multiple events, rewriting the record book and securing two conference titles.
