Over the break, Emma Burns posted 10 or more points for the Crusaders in all three games. The sophomore shot nearly 40 percent (.395) from the field over the three-game span and was reliable in CU's 3-point game. Burns scored 12 points in the Capital/Marriott Holiday Tournament's opening game, all by way of 3-pointer, and then added 11 more plus five rebounds in the team's win over Oberlin to complete the sweep. She then came out and scored 17 points in a close road loss at Baldwin Wallace. She averaged 13.3 points and 2.3 rebounds per game over those three games.
