With two big-time games against Otterbein on Saturday, these two showed up in big ways as Capital Football and Men's Soccer came away with wins.
Stanford got the day started with nine catches for 98 yards and a receiving touchdown that turned out to be thw game-winning score. Stanford reeled in a diving catch with 55 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter and tumbled into the endzone as the Crusaders went ahead 23-19 with less than a minute remaining. Earlier in the game, Stanford threw his first career touchdown on a trick play on a wheel route to Wyatt Pertuset.
After the excitement of the afternoon, Capital Men's SOccer then kept the fireworks coming with a 5-0 win over the Cardinals. The first goal came off of a throw from Knox as he picked out Cole Moscovic in the penalty box for the first of his three assists of the night. The helper was the 30th of his career, giving him the most career assists in program history. The junior then added to his record with his 31st and 32nd assists as the Crusaders rolled to the OAC regular season title.
