The sophomore pitcher has been on fire to start 2018 and Sunday was no different when he threw a complete-game shutout against Franklin in Capital's 4-0 win. The Grizzlies had not lost all season until Thompson limited them to only four hits and struck out four. The win was Thompson's second shutout in a row after going seven scoreless on March 11. This season, the pitcher is 2-0 with a 0.93 ERA in 29 innings over four appearences. He has struck out 16 while allowing only 21 hits.
