Capital Men's Soccer made its first appearance at the NCAA Division III Tournament since 2009 and only second in program history. Daniel Bundschuh made this trip extra special when he scored the game-winning goal in double overtime against the Dominican University (Ill.) Stars with less than one minute to go. After Capital moved the ball into DU territory, Bundschuh received a pass while a teammate was being upended. He then took it deeper toward the cage and fit in a well-struck left-footed shot inside the far post to stop the clock and advance Capital into the second round. The win marked Capital Men's Soccer's first NCAA Tournament victory in program history.
