Biography

2016-17: Joined the team after completing her senior season on the Capital women’s soccer team …  went 2-7 overall and 1-7 in OAC play on the singles circuit … played seven of her nine singles bouts out of the No. 2 position, where she earned both wins … paired up with MacKenzie Archibald in doubles play to go 2-7 overall, 1-7 in OAC … the duo played all but two of its matches as the top doubles team … Hanayik earned her first collegiate win in an 8-5 victory against Heidelberg (April 5) … first singles win came at No. 2 versus Muskingum’s Brittany Besancon (6-2, 6-1).

Personal: Majoring in business management with a minor in sports management … parents are Kevin and Stacy Hanayik … attended Sidney High School where she competed in track, basketball, and soccer … member of the Capital Ski and Board Club as well as the CU Sport Management Society … career ambition is to work in community relations or human relations for a sports team … hobbies include snowboarding, playing tennis and basketball.
