DELAWARE, Ohio – The Capital University cross country program sent split squads to two different meets on Friday, October 2nd as a group went to Lehigh's Paul Short Run and a smaller group went to the OWU Invitational.
Unfortunately for the group at Lehigh, the meet was cancelled as the Capital men were on the starting line. Meet organizers deemed the temperatures too hot to continue the event and the remaining six races – including both the men's and women's races Capital was scheduled in – were cancelled.
The group at Ohio Wesleyan's race did get their race in albeit a wet evening of running at Liberty Park.
