Game Recap: Men's Soccer |

Men’s Soccer Falls to Baldwin Wallace in OAC Opener

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Capital University men's soccer team fell by a final score of 1-0 to Baldwin Wallace on Saturday afternoon. The loss was the team's first in OAC play this year and brings their overall record to 1-7-1. BW is now 5-6-1 overall and 1-0 in the conference.

The Yellow Jackets held the upper-hand in the game offensively, taking 12 shots compared to Capital's three.

That pressure paid off for the Yellow Jackets in the 31st minute as a free kick routine resulted in a goal by Nate Usrey. That goal would hold up despite a few quality chances by the Comets.

Those best chances came as a shot by Wassim Metatla was saved in the first half and a header from Noah Baer was saved in the second half.

Ethan Ogden finished the game with three saves.
