The Comets'
Brendon Dorsett pressed ONU's (10-2-3, 4-0-1 OAC) Lucas Hickey in the defensive third, forcing Hickey to turn the ball over. Noah Thomas in the Cap net, leveling the score at 1-1.
With the leveled score, the Purple and White defense held strong thwarting many of the attacks from the visitors, with Thomas coming up with numerous strong saves. The score remained at 1-1 as the final whistle blew, with Thomas ending with six saves.
