Women’s Lacrosse Runs Rampant in Dominant Win at ONU

ADA, Ohio – The Capital University women's lacrosse team ended their regular season with a flourish, defeating Ohio Northern 24-9 on Saturday evening. The Comets wrap up the season with an 8-4 record which includes a 6-1 OAC mark. They will now await the seedings of the OAC tournament to play out to finalize their postseason plans.

The Comets shook off an early 2-1 deficit and a tied ball game at 3-3, exploding for 15 straight goals before halftime to erase any doubt of the outcome of the game. In the end, Capital controlled the offensive end of the field and conceded less than 10 goals for the third straight game and fourth time this season.
