NEW CONCORD, Ohio – The Capital University men's and women's cross country teams were in action this afternoon at the Ohio Athletic Conference Championships, hosted by Muskingum University at Moorehead Farms in New Concord, Ohio.
The Capital men compiled 260 points to place 8th out of 10 schools, while the women scored 263 points to take 10th. John Carroll took the top honors in both genders.
The rolling hills course that the race was run on did not favor times well for anyone as many of the times had several seconds added to them with the grueling up-hill sections of the course proving difficult to shave off time.
