COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Due to COVID Protocol, the Capital University women's basketball game scheduled at Mount Union on January 8th has been called off. The game will be ruled a no contest and will not be rescheduled. 

Per the revised OAC guidelines in January, 2022, the game will not directly impact the conference or overall record for either team. At season's end, the conference office will conduct a formulated calculation to determine the postseason seeding. The formula will take into account each team's respective number of games played and record in those games played, among other components. 

The Comets will hope to plan to return to action next Wednesday on January 12th vs. Heidelberg. Tip-off for that game is scheduled for 7 p.m. in the Capital Center.
