COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Due to COVID Protocol, the Capital University women's basketball game scheduled vs. No. 15 Baldwin Wallace on January 15th has been called off. The game will be ruled a no contest and will not be rescheduled. 

Per the revised OAC guidelines in January, 2022, the game will not directly impact the conference or overall record for either team. At season's end, the conference office will conduct a formulated calculation to determine the postseason seeding. The formula will take into account each team's respective number of games played and record in those games played, among other components. 

In response of this move, the men's game vs. Baldwin Wallace that was originally scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. will now tip-off at 2 p.m. 

Fans who purchased tickets for the men's/women's doubleheader tomorrow vs. BW who no longer plan to attend can reach out to Nick Astalos (nastalos@capital.edu) to request a refund. Tickets purchased will be honored for admission to the men's game. 

The Comets will hope to plan to return to action next Wednesday on January 19th at No. 22 Marietta. Tip-off for that game is scheduled for 7 p.m. in Marietta.
