This Saturday's women's lacrosse season-opening game at the University of Mount Union has been canceled due to inclement weather in the Alliance area. There is no makeup date planned at this time. 

Instead of opening the season at the defending champion Purple Raiders, Capital will instead open the 2021 campaign against rival Otterbein University at Memorial Stadium. The Crusaders and Cardinals will meet in Westerville on Saturday, February 27 for a 1 p.m. contest. 

More details on coverage for that contest will be provided closer to game day.
