Crusaders on Wrong End of Big Decision

DELAWARE, Ohio – The Capital University men's soccer team took on the Ohio Wesleyan University Battling Bishops on Wednesday night at the Jay Martin Soccer Complex. Capital was turned down, 5-0.

The Battling Bishops got on the board early and often in as they scored three goals in the first half. Ohio Wesleyan (7-2-2) would add two more goals in the second half. All five Ohio Wesleyan goals were scored by a different shooter. Evan Lee led the Bishops with one goal and two assists.

The Crusader offense was led by junior Hunter Stiger (Cincinnati, Ohio) with two shots on goal. Capital was outshot 23-7.

Capital's sophomore goalkeeper Trevor Funk (Dublin, Ohio) had one save.

The Crusaders (2-7-0) look to bounce back on Saturday Oct. 3 in the conference opener at home against Mount Union at 4 p.m.
