Capital University sophomore Hunter Booth was selected Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Player of the Week for the week ending Nov. 3, the league announced Monday, Nov. 4.

Booth, a defender from Liberty Township, Ohio, scored the game-winning goal in the Crusaders' 1-0 victory at Muskingum last Tuesday in New Concord, Ohio. Booth sent his second goal of the season into the back of the net on a header off a corner kick by freshman Jacob Pulliam in the 65th minute. Capital hung on for the 1-0 victory to earn a home match in the first round of the OAC Tournament, which begins this week.

For the season, Booth has played in 16 matches, making 15 starts. He is the first member of the men's soccer team to garner OAC Player of the Week accolades this season.

Each week, OAC coaches and sports information directors nominate student-athletes for each sport in season for the award.
