ATLANTA, Ga. – For the 29th season, the Women's Basketball Coaches Association announced their Academic Honor Rolls during the summer months after the conclusion of the academic year. As part of their Top-25 Honor Roll, the WBCA recognizes numerous additional high-achieving teams with Special Mention Academic Honors.
As a team, Capital University women's basketball finished the 2023-24 academic year with a team GPA of 3.451, earning Special Mention Academic Honors from the WBCA.
The team was led in the classroom by six student-athletes who received Academic All-Conference honors and an additional three who were named CSC Academic All-District at season's end.
While getting the job done in the classroom, the Comets were also successful on the court, finishing with a 19-8 record and a trip to the OAC semifinals.
