The Capital University Sports Information Department seeks highly motivated individuals that are interested in serving as an intern for the 2019-20 academic year. Start/end dates, and hours are flexible. Should be available on nights and weekends for athletic events.
The individual will also be afforded the opportunity to plan sports information tasks for the 2019-20 year and beyond, write press releases, broadcast (if desired), perform game day event operations, as well as learn various StatCrew and Genius LiveStats systems per their experience level. Additional projects may include marketing and promotion idea generation, Hall of Fame data collection, website and graphic design, or video editing - per experience level and interests.
Candidates with experience in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Premiere are preferred, but not required.
WOMEN'S SOCCER (COACH)
The successful candidate will assist the Head Coach in various aspects of the program with responsibilities including coaching, practice organization and implementation, game day responsibilities, recruitment, video analysis and scouting, equipment control and inventory, and social media. Applicant also must have a good driving record and able to drive a 12-passenger van. Evidence of specific sport experience (playing and/or coaching) is required.
