Crusaders Have a Strong Showing at the Cougar Invitational

COLUMBUS, Ohio- Capital Women's Cross Country had a strong showing at the Cougar Invitational hosted by Columbus State Community College on Saturday. Capital had four Crusaders finish in the top-10 for the 5,000-meter race. 

Freshman Allison Costanzo had yet another strong performance this weekend for the Crusaders. Costanzo finished first for the women with a time of 20:46. Freshman Eva Benhardt had the second-best time for the Crusaders, placing seventh overall. Bernhardt had a 21:55 split, averaging 7:03 per mile. Following eight seconds behind Bernhardt, was fellow freshman Alexa Daley. Freshman Victoria Williams came in ninth overall with a 22:54 5k time. 

Next up, the Crusaders will participate in the All-Ohio Championships at Cedarville University on Saturday, Sept. 28.
