Women's Cross Country Ranked Ninth in Preseason Coaches Poll

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) has announced the preseason polls for the 2019 cross country season. Capital University Women's Cross Country was chosen to finish ninth in the preseason poll. 

Capital received 21 points, placing ninth overall in the 10-team poll. The Crusaders sit above Marietta College (9) and below Wilmington College (27). 

Baldwin Wallace University (79) is favored, receiving seven of the 10 first place votes. Baldwin Wallace sits 12 points above number two, Otterbein University (67) who received one first place vote. John Carroll University (66) rounds out the top three spots with two first place votes. 

The Crusaders are looking to improve their record this season following a ninth-place finish last season at the 2018 OAC Championships.
