Sophomore Jordan Lyle (Sunbury, Ohio) took in a second-place finish in the pole vault, falling just short in a jump-off with Otterbein's Harmony Kolling. Both recorded final vaults of 3.20 meters.
Sophomore Ashley Freshkorn (Columbus, Ohio/Hamilton Township) put up two fourth-place finishes in the shot put and weight throw events. In the weight throw, she topped out at 14.05 meters while in the shot put she finished at 11.57 meters.
Abbey Bodeker (Vermillion, Ohio) finished fourth overall in the 60-meter dash with a finals time of 8.72 seconds.
Hannah Westhoven (Napoleon, Ohio) took third in the one-mile run, timing out at 5:44.42 and just one second out of second place.
The duo of Shaylynn Dornbush (Hopedale, Ohio) and senior Samantha Wentz (Haddon Heights, N.J.) took second and third place in the 400-meter dash. Dornbrush finished in 1:03.13, an OAC qualifying time, while Wentz crossed the line in 1:06.55.
Gretchen Sauder (Mansfield, Ohio) placed third in the 5,000 meter run, besting her seed time by 25 seconds. She stopped the clock at 20:08.20, qualifying her for the indoor conference championships.
In the 500 meters, Sarah Rini (Pickerington, Ohio/North) took fourth place with a 1:27.05 finish time, also an OAC qualifying time.
Capital took two of the top five spots in the 200-meter run with Rachel Rus (28.42) and Dornbrush (28.59) taking fourth and fifth place, respectively. Bodeker also placed inside the top 10 with a time of 28.86. All three posted sub-29.13-second times to make the cut for conference championships.
Heidelberg topped the team standings with 138 points while Otterbein trailed in second with 110 points. Capital finished with 89 points to place fourth.
