Women’s Tennis Falls to John Carroll

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Capital University women's tennis team hosted John Carroll University on Saturday afternoon at the Scarborough East Tennis Club. The Blue Streaks continued its undefeated season after downing the Crusaders, 9-0.

Capital (6-7, 2-2 OAC) was outmatched by the Blue Streaks (8-0, 4-0 OAC), who only lost two games throughout the entire match. John Carroll rolled through doubles play, winning all three matches by 8-0 counts.

Only Elizabeth Sadek at three singles and MacKenzie Archibald at six singles were able to pick up a game on its opposition. All other bouts were determined by 6-0, 6-0 scores.

Capital looks to regain its footing on the road against Heidelberg on Wednesday, April 10 at 3:30 p.m.
