COLUMBUS, Ohio – Capital University Women's Tennis has its winning streak come to a halt on Monday afternoon by way of a 9-0 decision against rival Otterbein University at the Olympic Indoor Tennis Club.

Capital (4-9, 3-3 OAC) was unable to pick up a point in the first and second doubles flights and was swept in doubles play following a third loss. The team's fortunes did not reverse once single play began. Otterbein took all six singles flights by large margins surrendering just two points in just two sets.

Capital's loss ends a three-match winning streak, which had been the first such since the 2013 season.

Otterbein (13-3, 5-0 OAC) remains undefeated in OAC play and is now on a 10-match winning streak.

Capital has two matches left to play in the regular season before postseason play begins. Their final home match, and Senior Day, will be on Saturday, April 21. Capital will host Baldwin Wallace University at the Olympic Indoor Tennis Club with first service taking place at 1 p.m.
