COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Capital University women's tennis team took to the CU Tennis Courts and brought the University of Mount Union to town for an Ohio Athletic Conference match. The Purple Raiders dispensed Capital by a score of 9-0 on Friday afternoon.

Mount Union (8-4, 3-1 OAC) dropped just one game to Capital throughout the entire match, that going to Amy Stammen in the five spot. Every other match, both doubles and singles, was taken in straight sets.

With the loss, Cap falls to 1-8 overall and still seeks its first conference win. The Purple and White have three conference road matches in a row beginning this Wednesday when they head to Marietta College. First service is set for 3:30 p.m.
