KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The United Soccer Coaches announced the organization's NCAA Division III All-Great Lake Region teams on Monday. Seniors Allyssa Kimbler (London, Ohio/London), Jordan Fike (Powell, Ohio/Olentangy Liberty), and Maggie Peddicord (Delaware, Ohio/Buckeye Valley) of Capital University Women's Soccer were all first-team all-region selections. This is Kimbler and Peddicord's second regional award and Fike's first.

This is the second consecutive year Kimbler was a first-team all-region pick. As a crucial member of Capital's defense, Kimbler helped the team to eight shutouts this season. Kimbler also made a huge impact offensively with seven goals and one assist this season.

This is Fike's first regional award. She had an impressive season, leading the team in points for the second consecutive year. She scored 10 goals and tallied 10 assists this season, good for 30 points. Fike is tied for fourth in the OAC for the most goals this season. Seven of Fike's goals this season proved to be game-winners.

Peddicord has made an immediate impact since her freshman year. Peddicord has earned All-Conference honors since becoming a member of the Crusader women's soccer team. Peddicord had two goals this season, her second helped the Crusaders earn a victory over OAC Tournament runner-up, Otterbein University.

Both Kimbler and Fike were named First Team All-OAC by the conference in early November, while Peddicord was named Second Team All-OAC. The Crusaders finished the season with a 14-6 overall record and 7-2 conference mark.
