The Capital University women's soccer team will be recognized prior to this Saturday's Columbus Crew soccer match against the New York Red Bulls at 7:30 p.m. in Crew Stadium.


The game is also part of Columbus Crew Dollar Night and College Night. Students can purchase a ticket for only $10 with a student ID and access the Party on the Patio behind one of the stadium's goals.


Non-student fans attending the game can save up to $10 purchasing either lower sideline or upper sideline tickets. Offer is not valid the day of the game. To purchase tickets or for more information, contact Amanda Seimer in the Crew ticket office at 614-447-4259 or


The Crusaders reached the NCAA Division III Tournament national semifinals and recorded a school-record 19 wins during the 2013 season. The Ohio Athletic Conference regular season and tournament champions earned numerous team and individual accolades during the run, including two OAC Players of the Year, two All-Americans, one Academic All-American and OAC Coach of the Year and NSCAA Division III National Coach of the Year finalist Chris Kouns.


Capital finished the season ranked in the top 10 in two national polls and garnered 12 Academic All-OAC award winners and six All-OAC selections.
