Titus, Wilson Earn OAC Player of the Week Honors

A pair of freshmen from the Capital University women's lacrosse team received Ohio Athletic Conference Player of the Week honors on Monday, as Korri Titus earned Offensive Player of the Week and Maddie Wilson received Defensive Player of the Week.

Titus, a Pickerington, Ohio, native, earned the offensive honors following a five goal game this past Saturday against Calvin, a game in which the Crusaders won 11-8. On the season, Titus currently leads the team in points (11), goals (9), and is second in assists (2).

Wilson, a Chagrin Falls, Ohio, native, received the defensive honors following an impressive showing in goal for the Crusaders this past Saturday, saving 17 of the 25 total shots that she faced in the win over the Knights. So far this season, Wilson has started both games and has held the Crusaders opposition to two goals in each of the first halves through two games.
