COLUMBUS, Ohio – Capital University Women's Golf has unveiled its fall schedule for the 2019-20 season. Head Coach Andy Garcia has put together a ledger of six tournaments that will take the Crusaders through the first week of October.
The fall season kicks off on August 31 when the Crusaders head to Cleveland where Baldwin Wallace University will host the Yellow Jackets Invitational at Mallard Creek Golf Course.
Following the two-day event, Capital will immediately head to its most challenging and prestigious tournament of the fall, the Roseann Schwartz Invitational, hosted by Youngstown State University. The invitational will be held from Sept. 2-3 and feature a group of NCAA Division I and II teams, including 2018 NCAA Championship qualifier, Cleveland State University. The event will take place at Mill Creek North Golf Course in Youngstown.
The University of Mount Union will host a one-day event at Tannenhauf Golf Club on Sunday, Sept. 8 to wrap up a week in which the Crusaders will play four rounds in seven days. Cap will then co-host a match play event with Otterbein University on Sept. 14-15 with day one beginning the tour at NorthStar Golf Club in Sunbury. Day two will be played at Royal American Links in Galena.
The month of September will wrap up with the OAC Preview on the 28th and 29th at River Greens Golf Club in West Lafayette, Ohio. The fall schedule will wrap up on Oct. 5-6 when the College of Wooster hosts the Eva Shorb Weiskopf Memorial at the Wooster Country Club.
