SPRINGFIELD, Ohio – Capital University Women's Golf competed at the Pat Clouse Invitational, hosted by Wittenberg University, this weekend. Capital finished 13th in a field of 14 teams.
Sophomore Janie Moller was Capital top finished with a two-day total of 186 after rounds of 94 and 92. Her scores placed her in a tie for 50th overall out of a field of 83 participants.
Katlyn Butler and Christy Conley both finished with weekend totals of 189. Conley actually finished at the top of Capital's team standings after day one with an 89, but fell back after Sunday's round.
Kaitlyn Kinley (195) and Kristen Sollmann (202) rounded out Capital's five-person lineup. Capital finished in 13th place with a final line of 369-390-759.
The tournament was held at the Springfield Country Club. Indiana Tech University finished first in the team standings (609) and had its own Wibke Schlender tie for first place overall (147). Host Wittenberg finished in second by five strokes.
