A road game against Ohio Northern University on Dec. 8 and a home game against Baldwin Wallace University on Dec. 11 bring the first half of the month to a close.

The next time Capital takes the court will be Saturday, Dec. 15 at the Hilton Scranton Poinsettia Tournament hosted by Scranton University. The Crusaders will play the second game of the tournament the next day. Opponents and times for those two games are TBA. The final game before Christmas will be a road challenge at Wilmington College on Wednesday, Dec. 19 at 7 p.m. Capital's annual Mariott Christmas Tournament will take place on Dec. 28 and 29 in The Capital Center. Opponents and times for the tournament are TBA.

The calendar turns to 2019 and all of Capital's remaining opponents will be OAC teams. Capital's first game of the new year will be played at the University of Mount Union at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 5. The Marietta College Pioneers will come to Columbus on Wednesday, Jan. 9 and then the Crusaders will make another trip to University Heights, this time to take on John Carroll.

Heidelberg University and Ohio Northern University will travel to Capital's campus for back-to-back home contests on Jan. 16 and 19 at 7 p.m. and 3 p.m. The Crusaders will travel to Muskingum on Wednesday, Jan. 23 before hosting Otterbein on Saturday, Jan. 26 at 3 p.m. January will end with a road game at Marietta on Jan. 30.

Three of Capital's five February games will be played in The Capital Center, starting with Feb. 2 against John Carroll. Away games at Heidelberg and Baldwin Wallace will be played on Feb. 6 and Feb. 9, respectively. The Crusaders will then finish the regular season with two more home games. Wilmington on Wednesday, Feb. 13 will be the first of those contests and then the regular season will conclude on Saturday, Feb. 16 against Mount Union at 3 p.m.

Coming off of a 14-13 (9-9 OAC) in 2017-18, Capital will be looking to make noise in the OAC Tournament after advancing to the semifinals a year ago. The Crusaders graduated only one player from last year's roster. Forward Erin Risner will return for her senior season after earning First Team All-OAC and a spot on the OAC All-Tournament Team and will be joined by All-OAC Honorable Mention teammate Regan Stonerock.
