Men's Cross Country Ranked Ninth in Preseason Coaches Poll

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) has announced the preseason polls for the 2019 cross country season. Capital University Men's Cross Country was chosen to finish ninth in the preseason poll. 

Capital received 19 points, placing ninth overall in the 10-team poll. The Crusaders sit above Marietta College (9) and four points below Muskingum University (23). 

Otterbein University (80) is favored, receiving eight of the 10 first place votes. Otterbein leads the group, sitting nine points above number two, John Carroll University (71) who received two first place votes. Ohio Northern University (64) is situated at third. 

The Crusaders are looking to improve their record this season following a ninth-place finish last season at the 2018 OAC Championships.
