Men’s Cross Country Runs Great Lakes Regional in Season Finale

SHELBYVILLE, Ind. – Capital University Men's Cross Country finished its 2018 season on Saturday at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional hosted by Franklin College in Indiana. The team placed 36th out of 38 teams.

Leading the charge was freshman Grant Ward with a time of 29:16.7 in 213th place. Just behind him was Jonas Pyle in 217th with a run of 29:22.9. Freshman Daniel McPherson stopped the clock just behind the first two finishers with a run of 29:31.7 in 222nd.

The next Crusader to cross the finish line was Nathan Hutchins who turned in a performance of 29:41.7 in 227th. The final runner to complete the 8,000-meter course was senior Andrew Rus in 246th. Rus Completed the race in 31:09.2.
