Capital Men’s Cross Country Competes at All-Ohio Championships

CEDARVILLE, Ohio – Capital University Men's Cross Country was part of the 38-team field that competed in the All-Ohio Championships hosted by Cedarville University on Friday and finished the 8K race in 35th-place overall.

Calvin Lortie (Mount Vernon, Ohio/Mount Vernon) finished in 29:03.8 and was the first Crusader to cross the finish line.

Aaron Fox (Commercial Point, Ohio/Teays Valley) was the second Capital runner to complete the course with a time of 30:01.1.

Nathan Hutchins (Toledo, Ohio/Maumee) and Quinton Napier (Columbus, Ohio/Hamilton Township) finished right next to each other in third and fourth for Capital with times of 31:24.1 and 31:24.8, respectively.

Andrew Rus (Mayfield, Ohio/Mayfield) rounded out the team for Capital with a time of 32:07.1.

Capital Men's Cross Country is off until Oct. 13 when it will compete in the Jenna Strong Invitational hosted by Wilmington College.
