Cross Country Places Six on Academic All-OAC

The Capital University cross country team placed six individuals on Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference for the fall season, as the men's team earned one recognition and the women's team placed five on the academic team.

Sophomore Andrew Stroh (Hilliard, Ohio) received Academic All-OAC for the first time in his career at Capital, posting a 3.81 grade-point average over the course of the fall season.

This season, Stroh has placed among the top three runners for the Crusaders in each of the four races that he has competed in. He is a Biology major in his second year at Capital.

On the women's side, junior Morgan White (Ashland, Ohio), as well as sophomores Gretchen Sauder (Crestview, Ohio), Sarah Rini (Pickerington, Ohio), Caitlyn Tulloss (Utica, Ohio), and Alexandra Corrigan (Burton, Ohio), all earned Academic All-OAC for the first time in their careers for their accomplishments in the classroom during the 2014 fall season.

All five runners have played a key role in placing the Crusaders in the top 10 in multiple races throughout the season, including an eighth place finish in the OAC Championships.
