Cross Country Competes at Great Lakes Regional

Mason, Ohio - The Capital University men's cross country team competed in the NCAA Regional Championship on Saturday hosted by Wilmington College. 

Capital finished 35th out of 37 competing teams in the Great Lakes Regional 8k race.

Freshman Derek Knabe (Cincinnati, Ohio) led the Crusaders with a 147th place finish out of 244 total runners.

Sophomore Andrew Stroh (Hilliard, Ohio) followed with a 163rd place finish at 27:20.6. Fellow sophomore Kaleb Perez (Woodville, Ohio) checked in with a time of 28:02.1, good for a 197th place finish.

Freshman Aaron Fox (Commercial Point, Ohio) recorded a time of 28:31.0, placing 207th. Classmate Bailey McBeth (New Philadelphia, Ohio) rounded out the Crusaders with a 223rd place finish at 29:33.8.
