AUSTINTOWN, Ohio – Following a win and second-place finish at the Division III All-Ohio Indoor Championships on Saturday, Capital Men’s Track & Field jumper Logan Allison was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Men’s Field Athlete of the Week, the conference announced Monday.

Allison’s day started with a win in the long jump competition, where he turned in a season-best performance of 6.97 meters. He followed that up with a second-place finish in the triple jump with a mark of 14.31 meters, just tenths of a meter behind the winner.

The win in the long jump on Saturday was Allison’s third long jump win of the season. The mark is also the second-best long jump performance in the OAC this season and is fifth in the region. Allison and the rest of the Crusaders will look to improve their marks this upcoming Friday and Saturday at the Rick Meindl Last Call Meet in The Capital Center.
