Men’s Soccer Ranked No. 23/25 in Week 4 Polls

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Capital University men's soccer team continues to be ranked in both the United Soccer Coaches and NCAA Division III polls. The Crusaders are now ranked No. 23 by USC and No. 25 by in the latest Top 25 national polls.

Cap has now been in the Top 25 polls for three consecutive weeks after Tuesday's announcement unveiling the latest lists. Last week, the Crusaders lost to The College of Wooster, 3-1, and took a 1-1 draw at the hands of formerly-ranked Brockport University.

Four different teams went from unranked status to leaping into the top 25 and ahead of Capital in the USC poll. Three teams did the same in the poll.

Tufts University (6-0-0) staked claim on the No. 1 spot in both polls. The Ohio Athletic Conference is well-represented in both top-25 polls with three teams making this week's list. John Carroll ranks third in both polls while the University of Mount Union was tabbed 14th by and 24th by USC.

Capital (3-1-2) will take on No. 24 Ohio Wesleyan at Selby Stadium (Delaware, Ohio) on Wednesday, Sept. 25 at 7 p.m. in its next action. Hanover College (Ind.) awaits on Sunday afternoon in another road matchup before back-to-back home matches open the month of October.
