COLUMBUS, Ohio – Capital University Men's Soccer started its 2018 season on the road at Mount St. Joseph but the Crusaders will have to wait until Sunday to record their first official result. The game was called in the 50th minute after a lightning delay halted the match.

Because the match was called before the 70th minute, the game does not count as an official contest and no stats from the match will count. The Crusaders were leading 3-0 at the time of the cancellation.

Capital will now "open" their season at home on Sunday, Sept. 2 against Wabash College. Kickoff at Purmort Field at Bernlohr Stadium is scheduled for 4 p.m.
