Nine of those opponents will visit Capital's campus and the Crusaders will travel to the other nine contests. The team will face four opponents that qualified for the 2017 NCAA Division III Men's Soccer Championship.

The Purple and White will open the season with a road game against Mount St. Joseph University on Friday, Aug. 31 at 7 p.m. The team will then have only a day to prepare for the home opener on Sunday, Sept. 2 against Wabash College. That game will kick off at 4 p.m.

The home opener marks the start of a three-game homestand that will continue on Friday, Sept. 7 with the first game of the Fred Myers-adidas® Invitational. The Crusaders will face Hanover College (Ind.) at 7 p.m. on Friday and then host Waynesburg University (Pa.) on Sept. 8 at 5 p.m as part of the challenge.

After the three games at home, the Crusaders will embark on a three-game road trip. Denison University will be the first of those opponents on Wednesday, Sept. 12 at 7 p.m. Capital will then travel to Case Western Reserve University on Saturday, Sept. 15 to take on the Spartans at 5 p.m. before ending the trio of away games at Wooster College on Sept. 19 at 5 p.m.

Three of Capital's next four games will come on the road with away clashes at the University of Mount Union, Ohio Northern University and Wilmington College. Sandwiched between those games is a home tilt with Muskingum University. The Crusaders will end the 2018 regular season with a rivalry matchup against Otterbein University on Saturday, Oct. 27. The team will also celebrate its seniors against the Cardinals. The Crusaders and Cardinals met in the OAC Tournament Championship in 2017.
