Spaw, Pulliam Earn Academic All-Ohio Honor

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Capital University's Men's Soccer's Jacob Pulliam (Westerville, Ohio) and Josh Spaw (Cincinnati, Ohio) have been named to the Ohio College Soccer Association Team. Pulliam, a junior midfielder, received a first team nod. While Spaw finished on the third team.

Pulliam, a physical therapy/athletic training major, took 23 shots which resulted in eight on goal, and two goals. He also added nine points and five assists.

Spaw will receive his degree in Chemistry/Pre-med this year. The senior defender finished the season with two goals on six shots (.167) and four shots on goal (.667). His lone game-winning goal came against Heidelberg University on Oct. 28.

The pair led the Crusaders to a 9-9-1 record and a birth in the Ohio Athletic Conference semifinal, where they fell to John Carroll, 3-2.
