KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) announced its list of 2015 NCAA Division III Men's Soccer All-Region award winners on Tuesday afternoon. Capital University junior Jacob Pulliam was named Third Team All-Region for his part in the Crusaders' successful season.

Pulliam, a Westerville, Ohio native, battled through a hand injury and helped Capital to one its most successful runs in conference play in recent years. After the turn into October, Capital won or tied each of its next four matches with Pulliam adding two helpers and serving in the middle of a defense that allowed one or fewer goals on three occasions in that time. With that solid start to the OAC season, it set the tone for a season that ended with a 7-1-1 conference record and number-two seed in the upcoming OAC tournament.

The midfielder finished the season with two goals and five assists en route to being named First Team All-OAC. Pulliam also earned his second Academic All-OAC honor following the season.

Capital has now had a player named to the All-Great Lakes Region team in each of the last three years. Pulliam was one of six OAC players to be named to one of the all-region teams, this year.
