LOUISVILLE, Ky. – For the second time this season, Capital University senior Brennan O'Callaghan has been named to the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Division III Team of the Week following two solid performances last week.
O'Callaghan, an attacker from West Chester, Ohio (Lakota West), is one of 10 individuals across the country to be named to the USILA Division III Team of the Week. The senior scored a total of 14 goals and tallied five assists, which totaled for 19 points in a pair of wins for the Crusaders. He tied his own school record for goals in a goal twice by scoring seven goals in the team's wins over Muskingum University and the University of Mount Union. He ended the week with a shooting percentage of .438 and of his 32 shot attempts, 71.9 percent of those were on goal.
For his efforts, he was also named OAC Men's Lacrosse Player of the Week on Monday afternoon.
O'Callaghan now has 49 goals and 15 assists this season and is just three points away from hitting 300 in his career.
