USILA Names O’Callaghan as Member of Division III Team of the Week

PERRY, N.Y. – The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) announced it's Division III Team of the Week. Capital University's Brennan O'Callaghan was named a member of the most recent Team of the Week following his superb performance last week.

The USILA Team of the Week recognizes the best national performances over a seven-day span in Divisions I, II and III by constructing a team of top performers at each position.

Last week, senior attacker Brennan O'Callaghan (West Chester, Ohio/Lakota West) scored seven goals and three assists in a single game, good for a 10-point day as part of a win over DePauw University. Both of those numbers tied the school record, which O'Callaghan owns. He also added one ground ball and one caused turnovers to his line. The Crusaders defeats the Tigers, 14-11, on Wednesday, February 28.

Prior to this honor, O'Callaghan was recognized as the Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week for the fifth time in his Capital career.

Capital (1-1) will play The College of Wooster on the road in its next action on Wednesday, March 7. The opening draw is set for 7 p.m.
