Capital Men’s Golf Announces Fall Schedule

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Capital University Men's Golf has announced its 2018 fall season with the team slated to compete in five tournaments and a scrimmage.

The Crusaders will hit the links for the first time on Sept. 1 for the first round of the Gatorade Collegiate Invitational hosted by Wooster College at Zoar Village Golf Course. The second round will be played on Sept. 2.

Two weeks later, Sept. 14-15, the team will travel north to The Grande Golf Club in Adrian, Mich. to participate in the Irish Hills Intercollegiate hosted by Adrian College.

The Beaver Fall Classic hosted by Bluffton University will take place Sept. 22-23 at Hidden Creek & Bluffton Country Club.

Capital, Otterbein University and Marietta College will link up for a three-team scrimmage on Sept. 29 at River Greens Golf Club in West Lafayette, Ohio before rounding out the first half of the season.

The Ohio Athletic Conference Fall Classic will be contested at the Colonial Golfers Club in Ada, Ohio Oct. 6-7. The Crusaders placed second out of nine teams in the OAC Fall Classic in 2017.

The final fall tournament on Capital's schedule is the Virtues Fall Shootout hosted by Denison University on Oct. 22 and 23 at the Virtues Golf Club in Newark, Ohio.
