AUSTINTOWN, Ohio – Though this week's action was shortened due to inclement weather it did not stop on of Capital University's own from standing out among the field. Sophomore Ryan Czerniakowski earned his first career Men's Golfer of the Week award from the Ohio Athletic Conference after his performance over the weekend.

Ryan Czerniakowski (Sylvania, Ohio/Sylvania Northview) was named OAC Male Golfer of the Week after he finished 10th at the Nye Intercollegiate Classic, hosted by The College of Wooster this weekend. He finished as Capital's low scorer and tied his season-low score.

Out of the number four spot in Capital's lineup, Czerniakowski turned in a 76 on his first pass through the course at the Wooster Country Club. Weather canceled the tournament's second round, but his score stood to give him a top-10 placement. Capital finished sixth out of 10 teams with a 312 team score.
