AUSTINTOWN, Ohio – The Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) announced its weekly performance awards on Monday, March 5. Logan Holbrook was named OAC Male Golfer of the Week, marking one of two award-winning performance by Capital Golf during their spring break trip.

Capital played two rounds at Broadmoor Golf Links in Fletcher, N.C. in the tournament hosted by Mars Hill University. Senior Logan Holbrook (Logan, Ohio/Logan) placed third overall on the par-72, 6,801-yard course which was littered with NCAA Division II talent.

Holbrook began the tournament with a first-round 77, which served as a respectable sixth-place standing at the end of day one. He then rolled out a four-stroke improvement on the second day of action. While many scores improved up and down the leaderboard, Holbrook's improvement helped him leap three spots to finish third overall. He finished with a two-day total of 77-73-150 to lead the Crusaders' lineup as well as earn him post-tournament recognition.
