The Capital University Men’s Basketball Program is sponsoring its 19th Annual Capital Holiday Youth Shootout. The Capital Basketball program will use proceeds from this event to support our next International Basketball Tour. The 2019 Holiday Youth Shootout will be split into two different sessions and consists of 4th, 5th and 6th grade boy’s teams. The 4th and 5th grade sessions are on Saturday, December 28, and Sunday, December 29. The 6th grade session is on Monday, December 30, and Tuesday, Dec. 31 (tournament completed by 6 pm).

There will be Division I and Division II pool play and tournament brackets for community-based teams.

Only teams with players from the same community/school system will be accepted.  

Player additions from the same community to your regular roster for our tournament will automatically place your team in Division I.

ENTRY FEE: $285.00


The tournament will be played under OHSAA rules with the following exceptions:

1.  Twenty-minute running clock each half, the clock stops last two minutes of the game.

2.  Two 30 second time-outs / half (no carryover timeouts)

3.  Shooting Fouls are awarded one point and one free throw during running clock.

Entry fee and registration are due Monday, December 9, 2019 or until the tournament is full.

Tournament schedule will be emailed to coaches on Friday, December 20, 2019.
