Youth to Drive Crusaders’ Progress in 2019-20

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Capital University men's basketball team is nearing the official opening tip of the 2019-20 season, beginning its Ohio Athletic Conference regular season title defense. While a large graduating class will leave many holes to fill, the Crusaders will look to its veterans and inexperienced, but skilled, underclassmen to grow and fill those voids.

Less than a year removed from winning a share of the OAC regular season championship, the Crusaders are looking to prove the critics wrong for a second straight season. Prior to its championship and NCAA Tournament run in 2018-19, the pollsters picked Cap to finish sixth in the conference. Last week, the same preseason poll tabbed Capital to finish sixth again. Here is the team that looks to prove them wrong for a second straight season.
