Capital began its week by avenging one of its earlier losses in an 86-80 win over Heidelberg University on Wednesday. Senior guard Will Hannah (Milford, Ohio/Milford) scored a career-high 22 points while grabbing six rebounds in the win.

On Saturday against Baldwin Wallace University, Capital's Senior Day, the Crusaders never trailed in an 81-76 win. Five players scored 10 or more points for the Purple and White, including four of the team's five seniors. Caleb Cox (Cincinnati, Ohio/Oak Hills) recorded his 10th double-double of the season with 19 points and 12 rebounds.

The Crusaders are in sole possession of first place in the OAC and sit a game ahead of the University of Mount Union and two games ahead of #19 Marietta College and Wilmington College. Capital has only two games remaining in the regular season, both on the road, at Wilmington on Wednesday, Feb. 13 and at Mount Union on Saturday, Feb. 16 in the regular season finale. Capital has already secure a top-four seed in the upcoming OAC Tournament and will receive at least one home tournament game.
